Completion date: December 31, 2025

Location: Cary, NC

Why did the customer contact us?

Customer reported a mushroom-like growth originating from a shower door installation, indicating water seepage into the screw holes and potential mold development.

Solutions provided:

Upon inspection, the source of water intrusion was confirmed to be related to the shower door installation. Affected building materials, including drywall and subfloor around the shower area, were carefully removed to expose the water-damaged areas. The framing and surrounding structures were thoroughly cleaned, dried, and treated for mold remediation. Specialized equipment was utilized for water extraction and drying. The area was then prepared for reconstruction, ensuring all water damage and mold issues were addressed, and the potential for future seepage from the shower door installation was mitigated.
