The customer reached out due to a significant water leak originating from the plumbing system that migrated into the crawlspace and affected interior cabinetry. The intrusion caused saturated insulation, standing water on the vapor barrier, and visible water staining on the subfloor and joists, posing a risk of mold growth and structural wood rot.
Our team performed a comprehensive water mitigation service. We removed all saturated fiberglass insulation to allow the structural wood members to breathe and dry. We extracted standing water from the crawlspace, cleaned the existing vapor barrier, and treated the exposed joists and subflooring with an antimicrobial solution. Additionally, we inspected interior cabinets and initiated a professional drying process to restore the home's structural integrity and air quality.
