The customer contacted us to address a persistent plumbing leak that had caused significant water damage to their ceiling and subflooring. The leak originated from an upper-floor bathroom drainage pipe, leading to visible water staining on the drywall, saturation of the wooden floor joists, and a risk of structural wood rot and mold development if left unmitigated.
We implemented a professional water damage restoration and structural drying plan. Our team performed a controlled demolition by removing the damaged section of the ceiling drywall to access the plumbing and saturated subfloor. We isolated the area with plastic containment barriers to prevent debris migration. Once the plumbing repair was verified, we utilized high-velocity air movers to dry the wooden structural members and treated all exposed surfaces with antimicrobial agents to ensure a safe and moisture-free environment for reconstruction.
