The property owner requested an emergency water damage inspection and leak detection assessment after noticing severe, widespread floor buckling throughout the entire first floor, including vinyl flooring in the laundry room, as well as LVP in the kitchen and dining room.
Our technicians conducted a thorough moisture evaluation using Protimeter meters, obtaining maximum saturation readings of 999 across multiple first-floor subfloor materials and flooring types. We accessed and inspected the crawl space underneath the home to check floor joists, subfloor insulation, and plumbing lines. While the active origin of the leak remains unidentified, we inspected plumbing connections—including toilet supply lines—and recommended further leak detection, controlled removal of buckled flooring materials, and structural drying to prevent microbial growth.
